2021 Mazda CX-3 driving on the road

What safety features can you find in the 2021 Mazda CX-3?

When looking into what vehicle you should consider as your future ride, the safety features that come included with that vehicle matter a ton. Here at Gaithersburg Mazda, we want you to know what features our vehicles come with. Below, you can find some of the basic safety features that come with the 2021 Mazda CX-3, and how they go about keeping you safe.

2021 Mazda CX-3 – Blind Spot Monitoring

The first safety feature highlight that we want to showcase today is the blind spot monitoring system that the CX-3 has in place. If a vehicle or object appears on either side of your vehicle, in either one of the blind spots, this system will notify you. It will notify you via way of a visual and audio warning, making sure you don’t make a lane change, and ultimately avoiding any potential danger.

2021 Mazda CX-3 – Mazda Radar Cruise Control

Another useful tool that drivers can use while operating the CX-3 is the Mazda radar cruise control system. It works just like any other radar cruise control system, where you can set a predetermined speed and then cruise on the highway, but there’s an additional extra feature that takes it above and beyond. It also keeps you a safe distance away from the vehicle in front of you, constantly measuring the distance between you and that vehicle.

2021 Mazda CX-3 – Lane Departure Warning

With a lane departure warning, your vehicle actively monitors where your vehicle is positioned within your lane of travel. If this system detects drowsy driving or inattentive driving that results in you heading into another lane unexpectedly, this technology lets you know about it. Lane departure warning will send an audio and visual warning to you, and even provide protective steering if need be.

2021 Mazda CX-3 – Tire Pressure Monitoring System

One last safety feature we want to go over has to do with the CX-3’s tires. The Mazda CX-3 comes with a tire pressure monitoring system that allows you to be alerted when your tires are low on pressure. This feature is crucial because sometimes monitoring your tires goes unnoticed, but with this feature in place, you are all set.
