This system really helps enhance the Mazda Radar Cruise Control, which works just like any other cruise control system. What the Traffic Jam Assist feature does that enhances this, is being able to set your cruise control to speeds as the traffic changes on the road.  

Mazda i-ActivSense – Rear Cross Traffic Alert

Keeping on the topic of safety, the Rear Cross-Traffic Alert feature is another convenient feature equipped with every Mazda model. When backing out of a tight space, or in a busy parking lot, the rear cross-traffic alert function will alert you when oncoming traffic is coming from either direction. If a collision is imminent, the rear cross-traffic alert function can automatically apply the brakes to avoid this situation from occurring. 

Mazda i-ActivSense – 360 Degree View Monitor

With the 360-degree view monitor, drivers can better see their surroundings inside a Mazda vehicle. The cameras placed along the entirety of the vehicle all work together to bring the best views possible. Then these views are plugging into the Mazda Connect screen for your viewing pleasure, and to help you better understand your surroundings.
